i don't have much time left from lunch, so here we go...
THE 801 WEEKEND: rick had to work and couldn't make it, but both arlen and gibby arrived on friday, left on sunday.
first night - the kitch boys came over to hang out, we chilled at my house drinking the San Miguels my mummy bought us. when it was just my bf, my boys, and i we went to blockbuster to rent Team America. gibby and i were a bit tipsy so i'm sure we were a little loud and obnoxious, but meh...i haven't seen them for two months! i ended up buying the movie used, much hilarity ensued, and then my boys fell asleep with 20 mins. to go :P they're forgiven...they both had long work days followed by long drives.
next day - gibby, arlen, and i were very lazy and spent the morning sprawled out in the rec room, watching cartoons :) in the afternoon we drove to Sportsworld, did the driving range, arcade games, and boosted arlen on the Moose Winooski moose to take a picture. we were having a bbq at 3, so we left for home, stopping at Dairy Queen on the way to buy dessert: a peanut butter cup blizzard cake with "801" written on the top. :) kel, G, and max came for eats, and AJ joined us again. and my dad finally got to do what he was waiting for...pop the top on the 40 of white tequila. the five of us (dad, AJ, my boys, and i) did shots from that 40 throughout dinner, and when it was empty, AJ and my dad went to lickbo to buy another 26er. when they came back, we moved indoors to light up the karaoke mike. i took a ride on the porcelain bus (left turn!) and didn't join in the demise of that second bottle. after much karaoke-ing and picture taking, AJ passed out, and the boys and i took a cab downtown. we got rejected from two bars (cuz a-train was drrrruuunk), went to a pub besides Yuk Yuk's, and got let in to the comedy club FREE by the actual comic!! he saw us outside and told the security guard we were with him ;) sweet deal...getting rejected at the bars was a blessing in disguise cuz the rest of the night at Yuk Yuk's was GREAT! the comic told the crowd our names were uncle william, cousin stacy, and little bobby :P
sunday morning - the boys left fairly early cuz gibby had work, and arlen said if he didn't leave when gibby did he never would. the goodbyes weren't as bad as last time cuz we know we'll see each other soon...and we were extremely hungover (thanx dad). :P wonderful weekend... anyway lunch hour is over and i gotta jet. but i'll have to write soon cuz me and the girls from work went out thursday night and it was great fun too!
till next time...
